Cari is a Campus Minister at a wonderful high school just outside of Cleveland, Ohio, St. Edward High School.  She grew up in the even better state of Minnesota, and leaving to work in Cleveland was a journey she did not expect God to lead her on.  She graduated from the College of St. Benedict and St. Johns University in 2005 with a degree in theology and secondary education. Then, she went back to St. Johns to get a masters degree in theology.  She's currently working on finishing the credits to have a masters in divinity, so that she can begin the Doctorate in Ministry program at St. Mary's Seminary in Wickliffe, the east side of Cleveland.   We'll just say she's read a lot of books about God.

After graduating from College, Cari spent the many years in parish youth ministry in various places around Minnesota, most of her time working in the arch diocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis.  Those were formative and difficult years that prepared her for the work she does now with high school students in an academic setting.  These experiences allowed her to gain unique and important insights about herself and how to work with teens, and have made her a better campus minister.
